Where debate fails to change minds, a well crafted story or real experiences of people we trust can break through to change hearts and tear down walls that kept us from hearing one another and really understanding what their view is about. How does narrative, whether personal or cultural, influence the way we respond to issues and treat one another? Why do we find stories compelling? Participants explore the role narrative plays in how we approach our own personal conflicts, how we respond to greater social and cultural issues, and how we clash or connect with each other.
