We hear the phrase “defend the family” a lot, and sometimes from people who seem to equate that with a negative message toward LGBT people. Yet for many of us, our lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender brothers and sisters are part of the family we’re defending. So in this episode’s conversation, we talk about how we reconcile our commitment to each member of our families with the general charge to defend families.

Excellent Podcast. I think Jonathan should quit his day job and take up podcasting full time. He’s a natural.

I liked the way “defend” the family was approached….how we can defend the family from within by respecting one another, being loyal and showing great love or each member. What I especially liked was hearing a point made and then examples of how that point was applied in personal lives.
It is nice to talk about an issue ( in plain and simple words) but it is the examples that help solidify the point made. Thank you.

P.S. Please speak into the microphones so voices are clear and heard!
