Can we dialogue in a way that is both loving and courageous in our conversations about the intersection of Mormonism and homosexuality? In this episode we explore some things that can help us to practice empathy-based conversation, meaning listening with the intent to understand as much as to be understood. We look at how we can honor the sacred territory of one another’s shared stories, narratives and lived experiences. In this episode we also briefly discuss the conversational guidelines of the Circles of Empathy approach to dialogue. More information can be found at http://www.circlesofempathy.org/guidelines/
